Michael Van Stan

Michael Van Stan is the founder of WalletWaypoint. He is an entrepreneur and hands-on investor who would rather test a money idea with his own capital than theorize about it -- and WalletWaypoint grew out of years of doing exactly that.

On the real estate side, Michael owns and leases a portfolio of ten single-family rental homes through his company JMC Properties, and recently expanded into commercial real estate with Purple Turtle Properties. On the technology side, he operates two Cardano staking pools, has built several automated stock-trading bots, and ran a small Bitcoin mining operation in the earlier days of crypto. The throughline across all of it is the same: understanding how money, markets, and credit actually work in practice.

He started WalletWaypoint to turn that practitioner perspective into tools and guides anyone can use -- explaining money decisions in plain language, the way he would for a friend. Michael is not a licensed financial advisor, and everything here is educational, not personalized financial advice.
